Safety is the foundation of every session at JS Photography Studio. Jatinder holds current infant first aid certification, maintains a temperature-controlled and sanitised studio, and uses only natural posing — meaning if a baby resists a position, that pose simply does not happen.

JS Photography Studio is located in Bacchus Marsh, approximately 45 minutes from Sunshine via Western Ring Road / Western Freeway M8. Many families from Sunshine tell us the drive was easy and the experience was completely worth the journey.
All sessions take place exclusively in our private studio in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria. We do not offer home visits. Families from Sunshine travel to us because the private, purpose-built, temperature-controlled studio environment is simply not something that can be replicated at home or in a shared space.
We recommend booking during your pregnancy — ideally by week 28–32 — as newborn sessions must take place within the first 5 to 14 days after birth. Sessions from popular areas like Sunshine book out weeks in advance. We hold your date and confirm once your baby arrives safely.
The ideal window is 5 to 14 days after birth, with days 5–10 being perfect. During this time, babies sleep deeply and are still naturally curled in their womb position, allowing for the gentle, organic posing that defines our style. After two weeks, babies become more alert and the session experience changes significantly.
Yes — our Bump to Baby package combines a full maternity session during your third trimester with a complete newborn session after your baby arrives. It tells the complete story of this chapter and offers better value than booking each session separately. It is our most popular offering for families planning ahead from Sunshine.
